November 1
October was a horrible month. So I have been praying and claiming that November will be a better month. Well November started with quite the bang.
Friday night I was babysitting my next door neighbor's baby. After the baby fell asleep I went outside to take my dog home. On my way back over to my neighbors house I see a snake in front of my driveway. I thought it was dead because a car drove over it. I ran into my neighbors house and then thought about it and decided I needed to figure out who to call to remove it. I went back outside to check and the snake was gone. I begin to freak out and started to look for this snake. Mind you this snake is loooong. Its length is longer than the width of my driveway. Anyway, I finally find the snake and its near my front door. I freak out even more and call my other neighbor. She calls the base police and they come and rescue me. By the time the police came the snake had moved to the area between my garbage bin and the living room. He used his flashlight to find it and grabbed it by the tail. He took it out to my driveway to see how long it was and this crazy thing was almost the length of my driveway. The police says that this is an unusually rare and large snake. He again grabs it by the tail and as if he is Indian Jones he whips the snake on the ground and kills it. To make sure its dead he crushes its head with his boots. Then asked for a plastic bag to put it in. He then had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to keep it? Ummm no thank you, please get the crazy long snake out of here......
