Just a simple thought

There may be some steep hills to climb, some times when the road seems treacherous and you aren't sure where to turn, times when you feel like you are on the brink of failing, and there may be many curves in the road.

As you make your way through the ups and downs of each day, may you know God's presence is with you through each tunnel, every steep climb, every curve, in the beautiful mountaintop experiences with Him, and through the slippery storms of life.

May He walk with you down through the valley's and up the mountains, take your hand and guide you through to the light, put a hedge around you to keep you safe.

May He help you find joy and excitement in the roller coaster ride, and fill you with amazement at the beauty He provides along the way.

Take time to smell the flowers, to admire His handiwork along life's railway and may His praise to Him for all He's done.

"Awesome"

This is one of my new favorite songs right now....

Daily Survival Kit

If you are one to make little gifts for family and friends here is an idea for you. Place these items in a sandwich bag with a note and tell them you care.

Daily Survival Kit

Toothpick---to remind you to pick the good qualities in everyone including yourself.

Rubberband---to remind you to be flexible. Things might not always go the way you want, but it can be worked out.

Band-Aid---to remind you to heal hurt feelings, either yours or someone else's

Eraser---to remind you everyone makes mistakes. That's okay we learn by our errors.

Candy Kiss---to remind you everyone needs a hug or a compliment every day.

Mint---to remind you that you are worth a mint (but usually more than a mint) to your family and me.

Bubble gum---to remind you to stick with it and you can accomplish anything.

Pencil---to remind you to list your blessings everyday.

Tea bag---to remind you to take time to relax daily and go over that list of God's blessings. These blessings are what makes life worth living every minute of every day.

Make your bags and spread some love and friendship

Cravings

Dear readers,

It has been quite some time since I have posted. I am sorry to those of you who are faithful readers and have missed my blogs..Well I am back and will try to keep up better with this. For now I need to vent..I hope you can follow along and post your thoughts.

When did having a craving for a particular food mean that one is solely pregnant? Let me explain why i ask this question, but first some history. Ever since I got engaged last year I have been getting asked that dreaded question "are you pregnant?" Well now that I am married it has increased slightly. However the epitome of this situation happened just last week. I live in a place where there is no chipotle. The other day I was craving chipotle something fierce because I haven't had it since my honeymoon almost three months ago. Anyway, my husband and I were trying to figure out what to eat and both of us were wanting chipotle (we had to find a different alternative). Anyway, I posted on facebook (which I no longer have as of this past weekend) that I am craving chipotle. Well folks, that started an epidemic of "are you pregnant?" I am so sick of hearing that question so by this time I am getting furious by each passing comment and phone call I received stating "I saw on facebook you are craving chipotle, are you pregnant?" My last straw was three people stated "OMG, you are pregnant, when are you due?" I know I probably shouldn't have gotten so irate but do understand, I didn't want children to begin with. And even if I was pregnant my husband and I want to wait awhile before we told people. So with all of that said, I am just sick and tired of the question and couldn't handle the question anymore. I just don't understand why craving food nowadays is solely a pregnancy issue. What happened to craving food because you haven't had it in awhile? Or craving food because you are emotional or on your period? Or craving food based on any numerous reasons? I just don't get it. Can anyone explain that to me?

Best Regards,
Simply That...
